Castle Combe Action Day, Wilts, September 1999

Castle Combe was a day of glorious, if not too hot, weather and as usual we had a good assortment of Duttons. I think we managed just over 12, it’s hard to tell when they were moving about and going round the track. As usual many cars were failing the noise test, which seemed stricter although the quoted measurement numbers were the same, and it certainly made a difference with those cars on the track sounding too quite, although the NG Car's demonstrator sounded as if it should have failed the noise test. A few of the Duttons there passed the noise test and were out on the track, or on the infield as a Malaga B+ lost grip in front of the pits. It was good to see that several members still made the event even though not in their Duttons, thank you for your support.
